Hollyhill Tempest is a FUN dahlia as well as a giant one! She soars above all the other dahlias in my patch, even with the bare minimum of staking. Her whimsical wavy petals with variegated stripes and rich plum/fuschia coloring make it a delightful one to arrange. Some of the blooms will sport solid maroon.
As with most super large dahlias, Hollyhill Tempest is a late season bloomer - but what a fun surprise to be stopped in my tracks when this sleeping beauty did bloomed and continued to throw out such fun and lovely twisty dahlias.
