TUBER QUALITY

All dahlia tubers are sold individually and grown here at Bumblebee Dahlias along the foothills of Colorado. We appreciate your support of our small flower farm, and strive to grow healthy dahlias that brighten your garden.

Your tubers are guaranteed to have a growing/sprouted visible eye. Dahlia tubers come in many shapes and sizes and will vary depending on the variety. The health of your garden and mine is of high importance - we practice excellent sanitary practices during the growing/cutting season and into clump division. We practice organic methods of pest control as well as take a conservative approach when culling any suspected unhealthy dahlia. 

  

Please inspect your tubers upon receiving them and email us at bumblebeedahlias.co@gmail.com within 7 days if you have any questions or concerns. There are so many variables that come with the excitement of dahlia growing that are beyond my control - weather conditions, improper storage until planting, soil conditions, insects. Even successful growers will find 10-20% of their tubers simply didn't thrive or may rot in the soil. It's always recommended to have some additional tubers sprouting in the inevitable event of needing to replace a failed dahlia.
