If you don’t have Daisy Duke, you need Daisy Duke. Her coloring is brilliant and vibrant and pure juiciness. She’s shorter and compact in stature with darker stems, so ensure you’re pinching this dahlia (as you should all dahlias! :) and making deeper cuts as you harvest to encourage better stem length. This coral bloom transitions to purples at the center and commonly has a bright green center that only adds to her charm. Early blooming, lovely dark foliage, great vase life, heat resistant to mid-summer sun bleaching…overall a super solid dahlia for your rows or garden borders that won’t disappoint.
