Cafe Au Lait Mini (aka Jolene) is a prolific dahlia with a smaller bloom size than her namesake - the queen of dahlias - that makes her so much easier to work into arrangements, all with that heavenly cream blush coloring. I’ve also found her petal structure to be more consistent than Cafe Au Lait which can throw out some wacky curly petals and blown out centers.
It’s a mid to late season grower for me so I pop her in a nursery pot with potting soil a month prior my frost date to get more of these unique and versatile blooms even sooner.
